The UK unemployment rate hit 5% last week. The US jobs report went MIA a while back. If you’ve been paying attention to the headlines about AI and automation, you know uncertainty is the new normal.
You can read every think piece about the changing world of work, know exactly what you should be paid, and understand where your skills theoretically fit, and still have no idea what to actually do next. Knowing and doing are different things, and this is what we are here to fix.
Data can tell you what you should be paid. It can show you where opportunities are shifting. But without people to help you figure out what to do with that information, it just sits there. You can be informed and still stuck.
So over the past year, we have been building WorkVue to provide both labour market intelligence, research that cuts through noise, professional coaching, and a community that actually understands what you’re dealing with – from entry-level jobs to career shifts.
But we were missing something obvious: leadership pathways.
While we’ve been helping people understand their value and navigate transitions, Kalpna Woolf has been building BeOnBoard, a member community focused on getting diverse talent into leadership roles.
Her thesis is straightforward: organisations should reflect their teams, customers, and communities. Not because it’s nice, but because homogeneous leadership misses things. You need different perspectives in the room where decisions get made.
When we started talking about merging, the logic was immediate. We have the data and coaching infrastructure. They have the leadership networks and development programs. Together, we can build something neither of us could alone: a community that spans entry-level workers to board-level leaders, all navigating the same volatile market.
Starting now, we’re one community. Over 1000 people, figuring out career transitions, leadership moves, and how to navigate a market that keeps changing the rules.
Access includes: real-time labour market data, research on emerging opportunities, professional coaching, community events and workshops, leadership development programs, and mentorship across career stages. Entry-level to board-level, all in the same network.
The market’s shifting. Sitting around waiting for stability isn’t a strategy. Neither is consuming endless content about what might happen. What helps is having actual intelligence about what’s happening now, plus people who can help you figure out what to do about it.
We’ve scheduled a town hall for December 2 at 4 PM GMT. Join us to ask questions and meet both communities.
For now, welcome to what’s next!
